Information Center is implementing and educational project aimed at the development of an information network and the empowerment of women through interaction. The two-year project is based on the Declaration of the First Independent Women's Forum (March 1991) and Final Resolutions of the Second Independent Women's Forum (November 1992) which define the anti-discrimination mission of the Forum and the ways of overcoming the discrimination of women.The project is implemented with the support of women's organizations and private individuals who are part of the Independent Women's Forum, Ford Foundation (USA), Nefteproduct Bank and other donors.Objectives: - to make available the information about the existing federal and local program offering support to women; - to develop democratic procedures in the local administration; to change the stereotypes of the of women; - to promote legal status of the non-profit non-governmental organizations; |
