Regional charitable organization "Center of women's initiatives " was established with the goal of implementing a number of educational programs for women as a joint project with the German Association of Popular Universities.Association of Popular Universities undertakes the funding of the project. The Center of women's initiatives made a commitment to set up the School of Craftsmanship educational center in Tosno.The main goal of the school is to give women from vulnerable social groups (unemployed, disabled, migrants) the opportunity to acquire skills that would enable them to produce craftwork in their homes. The Center of women's initiatives made a list of traditional crafts that do not require major resources or investments, and can generate income. Examples are: lacemaking, tapestry, pottery etc. |
